I completed a combined Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Arts degree with a Criminology major at the University of Melbourne.
I was fortunate enough to have previously worked as a Legal Associate to an Appeals Division, Family Court of Australia Judge for one year. Working so closely with someone so well versed in the law was a tremendous learning experience and introduction to the law.
During my time at Wisewoulds I have worked in a variety of areas, including Commercial Law, and Commercial, Insurance and Personal Injuries Litigation.
I currently practice in Commercial Litigation with a strong focus on insolvency. I represent both corporate and individual clients across all Victorian and Federal jurisdictions. I am a member of the Law Institute of Victoria's Courts Practice Committee and a member of the International Women in Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation. One of the highlights of my career so far has been successfully defending an application for special leave to appeal to the High Court of Australia.
Aside from the law I am passionate about karate. I studied karate for 16 years and hold the rank of second degree black belt. In that time I competed across a range of levels, including internationally for Australia. It is needless to say that I love a good fight and my progression into the law and particularly litigation has been a natural step.
I believe Wisewoulds clients benefit from the diverse knowledge I have acquired through my various legal experiences.
