Corporate & Commercial
I graduated from Melbourne University in 1972 and was admitted to practice in 1973. I had a keen desire to work in the law in London and combine this with a season of club cricket so in late 1974 Bev and I commenced travelling first around Europe and then settling in London. The work was interesting but the cricket more challenging. At seasons end in 1976 we drove our car from London to Calcutta and then by various means of transport arrived home for Christmas. I joined Mahonys in 1977 and became a Partner in 1980. For the past several years I have filled the role of Managing Partner. The merger of Wisewoulds and Mahonys on 1/7/09 has happily allowed me to relinquish that role and devote more time directly to clients at Wisewould Mahony.
My main areas of practice involve commercial law including leasing, Contracts and Credit Union advisory work.
I maintain a great interest in cricket but only as a spectator. Aside from my family, bad golf (although some say a handy partner in a four ball) and the mighty Bombers keep me occupied away from the office.
