Having graduated from Melbourne University in 1965,1 served my Articles with Rylah & Rylah and subsequently became a Partner in that firm in 1969. Rylah & Rylah was a three Partner practice which merged with Mahonys in 1992.
I have always practiced mainly in the area of property law including commercial and residential conveyancing, subdivision developments and mortgage lending on behalf of Co-operative Housing Societies and Institutional Lenders.
Apart from work and family (including three grandchildren) my lifelong interest has been sport in most of its forms, although my current participation is limited to an occasional round of golf, usually hitting that one reasonable shot which entices me to return for more punishment. As a member of a family of race callers, the Sport of Kings has always rated highly even if the horses which I have part owned have not. Still the Bulldogs are sure to win another flag "next year".
