Principal areas of Practice

Matisse has been utilizing her business and legal skills for media, music and entertainment companies since 1997 when she was admitted to the New York Bar. Since returning to Australia in 2006 Matisse has joined the Wisewould Mahony team as part of the Commercial Litigation Department.

Professional Biography

As an entertainment attorney in New York and Los Angeles Matisse's work has involved a diverse range of clients, from record and production companies to individual artists and events.

The common thread shared by these clients is the need for maximum flexibility of approach (not losing the deal in the negotiation) whilst ensuring that the client's rights are aggressively promoted and protected by convincing and practical legal strategy. Matisse is pleased to bring an international perspective to the result-focused approach of the Commercial Litigation Team.
