Josh Strong
Solicitor
Employment & Workplace Relations
I finished my Arts/Law degree at Monash University in 2006. In 2007 I took some time to cool my heels and pursue non-legal interests, taking up a job as an editor with an online media organisation.
I began my articles at Wisewoulds in 2008. I was pleased to learn early on in the year that I would be doing a diverse range of jobs, including site views, court appearances, client interviews, drafting, instructing counsel and rooftop landscaping. The year was challenging and tumultuous, but more than that it was instructive and enjoyable.
Since completing articles I have primarily worked in the firm's burgeoning Employment and Workplace Relations department, although I have also been involved in a range of commercial litigation matters. I have been fortunate to work closely with and draw on the vast experience of many great senior practitioners, and have made some good friends amongst the junior legal and support staff.

The majority of my spare time is consumed by my band, which I have played with in its various incarnations since 2005 (album out late September). Other than that I study Spanish and French, and like to spend as much time as possible reading about history and politics. Every Thursday I put myself through ritual torture on a basketball court.
