I.T Manager

Not a true Melbournian, I was raised in a little village on the North Coast of NSW called Lennox Head. From Lennox I was able to attend Southern Cross University of Lismore to complete a Bachelors of Information Technology. At the end of year 12 when it came time to select university courses I put down I.T. just to keep my mother happy. I was determined to be a Jazz guitarist (I hadn't quite matured enough to really assess that decision with any real intelligence). Little did I know what an impact an I.T. degree would have on me. I am now truly passionate about I.T. I love the furious pace and the potential for massive societal and organisational change that I.T. can bring. It is genuinely exciting to be a part of that change.

My career at Wisewould Mahony started with a three month contract in April of 2006. Fortunately, more projects came up and my contract was extended until I was finally offered a full time role. Between the start of the contract and now, I have had exposure and experience with every facet of Wisewould Mahony that I.T. influences as well as gaining an appreciation and understanding of the legal practice.

During my time at Wisewould Mahony I have come to find that it is a truly unique working experience. I have never enjoyed a place of work as much. A healthy social aspect and a comfortable atmosphere combined with a workforce derived from all walks of life means Wisewould Mahony is a fun and exciting place to be.

In January of 2009 I was proud to accept the role of I.T. Manager.

As I.T. Manager, it is my aim to make sure that Wisewould Mahony and its staff are technologically positioned to bring all of our clients the best possible legal service.

The infrastructure and facilities here at Wisewould Mahony are some of the ways we are able to do this. We have a first class Document Management System giving our solicitors access to our vast experience and ensuring that all data is electronically secured for the life of the file and well beyond. Our new Workflow and Document Production System has given our staff the tools needed to do their work in the most efficient and timely manner without compromising our first class legal service. All of these systems and our network/voice communication infrastructure are housed in a data room specially designed to the highest fire resistance standards including gas suppression; further ensuring the reliability and security of Wisewould Mahony legal service.
