I was admitted to practice in 1972. I completed my Bachelor of Jurisprudence in 1969 and Bachelor of Laws in 1971 at Monash University.
I commenced work with Bernard Nolan & Co in 1971 and became a partner in that firm in 1974. Bernard Nolan & Co merged with Mahony O’Brien & Duggan in 1975 and later became known as Mahonys.
I have practiced and continue to practice in the following areas: -
- Property – Subdivision and development, joint venture agreements, retail and commercial leasing, sales and purchases of residential and commercial property.
- Commercial – sales and purchases of business, commercial agreements including share sales, partnerships and trusts.
- Mortgage Services – including Consumer Credit Code Compliance advice, securitisation documentation advice and commercial securities.
- Wills and Estates – preparation of Wills, testamentary trusts, estate planning and administration of estates.
I enjoy sport play competition tennis (doubles) on Thursday nights and play golf most Saturdays. I am a keen Magpies supporter and enjoy socialising with family and friends. I have a wife, three children and at present 2 and ¾ grandchildren.
