I am Ashley McDonald. I joined Wisewoulds in 2001, having completed my law degree at Adelaide University in 1994 and having practised as a solicitor, primarily undertaking work for the South Australian WorkCover Authority, with an Adelaide based law firm for 7 years, before moving to Melbourne, for a man of all things.

I practise exclusively in the workers compensation area, acting on behalf of the Victorian WorkCover Authority and self insured employers.

I married Patrick in early 2005, working full time until I went off on maternity leave later that year. I had 12 months off, returning to part time work, in 2006.

I count myself as one of the lucky few, who actually enjoys going to work every day (well 4 days a week anyway). I really do love my job: the work I do for my clients and the people I work with.

At the moment, I could not ask for more. I work 4 days a week at (what I think must be) the most amazing and supportive law firm in Melbourne and I spend the rest of my time at home with my (now not so) little boy, Joshua.
